Oli and Associates COVID – 19 Support Program

Oli and Associates has been continuously fulfilling its Corporate Social Responsibilities in different forms since it started business 18 years ago. In response to current COVID – 19 crisis, we had initiated our own support program to eligible students who are unemployed and facing problems with their daily needs. The program included package of most essential grocery needs.

NSW Government

The NSW Government will fund temporary crisis accommodation for stranded international students as part of a $20 million package protecting the vulnerable and maintaining the state’s track record as a leading global study destination.

Charles Strut University

Charles Sturt University has introduced COVID-19 Student Support Grant. It is designed to meet a short-term financial need. Grants will be allocated to those students assessed as most in need to a maximum of $500 each for a fulltime student and pro-rata for a student who has less than a full-time study load.

Western Sydney University

Western Sydney University has announced a 10% fee reduction for onshore international students studying a coursework degree in Autumn Session, Quarter 2 and 1H, including Master of Research students. Students may also be eligible for other support from ‘international student hardship fund’.

University of Wollongong

University of Wollongong has established the COVID-19 Financial Assistance Grant Scheme for students most impacted by corona virus.

RMIT University

RMIT’s Student Hardship Assistance and Equity Scholarship funds have been expanded to provide up to $10 million in support to students impacted by COVID-19. Students can now apply for two types of financial assistance: Emergency Financial & Grant Technology Grant.

Flinders University

Flinders University has developed a $12.5 million Flinders Student Support Package. The package includes: $1 million in emergency support payments, of up to $500; A new Matthew Flinders Scholarship valued up to $2,000; and waiver of the Student Services and Amenities Fee for all students.

University of New Castle

University of New Castle have established the University of Newcastle COVID-19 Student Hardship Fund, focused on supporting a range of student emergency needs – from helping pay bills, to funding meals, to assisting with accommodation for those in great need.

University of the Sunshine Coast

USC offers emergency bursaries to assist students currently enrolled in TPP, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Research programs (all study areas) experiencing unexpected financial hardship value up to $1000.

University of Southern Queensland

USQ has developed COVID-19 Student Support Package. The support package will include: Living expenses (payments will be dependent on situation) Provision of technology (one-off payments of up to $1000 AUD) Provision of learning resources (one-off payments of up to $500 AUD)

Charles Darwin University

Charles Darwin University has introduced CDU COVID-19 Student Assistance Grant. To provide support to students experiencing financial hardship as a direct result of COVID-19, to enable students to continue their studies with CDU – aim of the payment is to alleviate immediate hardship.

Deakin University

Deakin University has announced up to $25 million in additional targeted support for international students experiencing hardship as a result of COVID-19.

Federation University

Federation University is providing financial assistance to support eligible domestic and international higher education students. Weekly assistance of up to $300 each (for up to five weeks), Funding for computer and/or technology assistance for students who are unable to study remotely, FedLiving accommodation assistance, Student Tuition Fee due-date extensions.

University of South Australia

UniSA has created the $10m Student Hardship Fund (COVID-19), which is open to all students (including international students) currently enrolled for onshore study at UniSA, who are in financial crisis and struggling with the costs of living and studying as a result of COVID-19.

Edith Cowan University

ECU has introduced support for students during COVID 19 outbreak. ECU has put in place a $2 million Student Support Package.

Victoria University

Victoria University has launched the COVID-19 Student Support Fund. This emergency fund was created for students who are most in need in the form of Emergency financial grant, Technology grant, Crisis housing support.

University of Tasmania

University of Tasmania is providing support for its students during COVID-19. Financial support & flexible payment plans, both international and domestic students can apply for these grants.

James Cook University

At JCU, we know that many are in need of support because of COVID-19 and your feedback has helped us to build a Student Success Support Package. This package has three key features Financial Support, an Academic Safety Net, and Health and Wellbeing.

Murdoch University

Murdoch University have developed a comprehensive Student Support Package to help those of you who have been financially impacted by this unprecedented situation. These packages are in the form of Study Support Fund, Extraordinary Support Fund, Academic safety net, Technology Bursary and Essentials Bursary.

Melbourne Institute of Technology (MIT)

Melbourne Institute of Technology (MIT) announces $1 million in financial hardship support for international students who are experiencing financial hardship as a result of COVID-19.

Central Queensland University

Payment plans and reduced study load for current students:

The payment plan allows for the remaining 50% of Term 1 tuition fees to be paid via installments by 7 July 2020. As well, students have been able to reduce their study load down to two units if they need.

Funding relief for current students:

Delivery mode for Term 2 (July intake):

You will know we transitioned our current (Term 1) classes to online delivery from 23 March and if the COVID-19 situation continues as it has been there will a decision closer to this intake based on guidance from health authorities as to whether we will also deliver Term 2 classes online.

ACU

Don’t let the unexpected impact your studies. If you experience undue financial hardship while enrolled at ACU that may prevent you from continuing your course, you may be eligible to apply for emergency support through the student loan scheme. TAFE NSW

During the COV-ID 19 crisis, on-line and flexible delivery arrangements are approved by the regulators for international students. The normal 20 hours face-to face do not apply during this period.
