EIT’s Bachelor of Science (Electrical Engineering) program primes students for a career as an electrical engineering technologist across diverse industries such as power generation, communications, computer systems, and robotics. This qualification equips graduates with fundamental knowledge applicable not only to electrical engineering but also across various engineering fields. The program spans three years full-time, comprising a blend of common units, specialized ‘stream’ units, industrial work experience, and a final year project. Each year consists of two semesters, with 4-5 units per semester, along with short mid-semester breaks and extended breaks between semesters.
Upon completion, graduates are prepared for roles as electrical engineering technologists in sectors like power systems, telecommunications, automation, and electronics. Career opportunities include positions such as electrical design engineer, control systems engineer, electronics engineer, and telecommunications specialist.

To enroll in Bachelor of Science (Electrical Engineering), applicants must collect the following before applying:
- Minimum CGPA 2.41 in Highschool OR +2
- Letter of Recommendation
- English Language Proficiency Requirements (Overall IELTS (Academic) band score of 6.0 with no individual band score less than 5.5, or equivalent.)
- Transcripts of all previous academic degrees (To be translated in English and approved by the translator)
