Bachelor of Information Technology

  • Prepare for a global impact in public health with the Bachelor of Applied Public Health at Australian Catholic University. Through a comprehensive curriculum, students delve into addressing critical health concerns spanning chronic diseases, sexual health, nutrition, HIV/AIDS, physical activity, and substance abuse across various demographics, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, youth, and seniors, within diverse settings such as workplaces, hospitals, and schools.

    In the final year, students transition theory into practice through immersive professional placements within public health organizations. These practical experiences offer invaluable insights and skill enhancement in line with recognized professions, specifically in roles like public health officers, health promotion officers, community development workers, epidemiologists, policy analysts, program evaluators, health educators, project officers, and consumer advocates. Membership eligibility for the Public Health Association of Australia (PHAA) and the Australian Health Promotion Association (AHPA) awaits students and graduates, fostering connections within the public health community.

  • To enroll in Bachelor of Information Technology, it is vital that applicants collect the following prior to applying:

    • 50% in Highschool OR 10+2
    • Letter of Recommendation
    • English Language Proficiency Requirements (IELTS overall band score of 6.0 or higher with no band below 5.5 in writing and speaking)
    • Transcripts of all previous academic degrees (To be translated in English and approved by the translator
