The Associate Degree of Dramatic Art at Excelsia College serves as a pivotal point for students completing the first two years of the Bachelor of Dramatic Art, offering specialized tracks in Performance Practice or Theatre Practice. The program is designed to cultivate the next generation of actors, directors, scriptwriters, producers, and theatre makers for both national and international stages and screens. In the Performance Practice major, students undergo an intensive course focusing on developing essential skills for stage and screen acting. Through exercises, scene work, and improvisation, they explore and embody characters, gaining emotional depth in their performances. The final year emphasizes adapting these skills for screen acting in a short film, ensuring versatility in their craft.
The Theatre Practice major caters to aspiring actors, producers, directors, and scriptwriters. Students acquire comprehensive skills and knowledge to create original works and establish their theatre companies post-graduation. The curriculum covers acting techniques, script analysis, character embodiment, and theatre management complexities. Graduates are prepared to take on producer roles, equipped with the ability to direct scripts, communicate a vision with actors, and use lighting and sound for compelling stage productions.

To enroll in the Associate Degree of Dramatic Art, it is vital that applicants collect the following prior to applying:
- CGPA of 2.8 in High School OR 10 + 2
- Letter of Recommendation
- English Language Proficiency Requirements (IELTS 6.0 (with no band less than 6.0))
- Transcripts of all previous academic degrees (To be translated in English and approved by translator)
