Rockhampton is the 22nd largest city in Australia located in the Rockhampton Region of the Central Queensland coast, Australia. The population of the Rockhampton Significant Urban Area was around 80,000, making it the fourth-largest city in the state outside of the cities of South East Queensland. It is one of the oldest cities in Queensland and in Northern Australia. It has a mild weather most of the year, but with hot and humid weather during Summer. It is a 30 minutes drive to the coast and the same road time to the mountains. Rockhampton is an amazing place for fishing, swimming, diving and most types of sport or recreation.
